Business literacy skills is an open textbook using interactive, engaging material and real-world case studies to introduce students to academic literacies with a business lens.
The text aims to improve student and future graduates entering the workplace with their business information skills, critical thinking and other academic competencies, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
The book covers fundamental aspects of information searching via the library business platforms, evaluating information, critically analysing information, how to effectively write for business, including writing reports, developing presentations and using AI and other writing tools ethically and how to reference and acknowledge sources with academic integrity.
