14 Retain access to your open text after leaving WSU

If you leave Western Sydney University and wish to retain access to open textbooks you hold the copyright for on Western Open Books, you may clone your textbook to a subscription-based individual authoring account at any time—either before or after your departure.

To do this, contact Pressbooks^[1] directly to arrange an individual authoring account. The cloned textbook will be hosted on a separate network from Western Open Books.

If you choose to make the cloned version the official and most up-to-date edition, it is possible to request a redirect from the original version to the new one.
