4 Register with Western Open Books
Register with Western Open Books using your WSU credentials
To access the full functionality of the Western Open Books platform under the University licence, register using Single Sign-On (SSO) with your WSU credentials.

Visit Western Open Books.

Click the ‘Sign in’ link at the top of the screen and select the SSO option.

How to update your public display name
To customise how your name appears in Western Open Books:

Sign in to Western Open Books via SSO using your WesternAccount credentials.

Click ‘My Books‘ from the main menu.

In the top right corner, click your account link, then select ‘Edit Profile’.

Enter your First Name, Last Name, and Nickname.

Under ‘Display name publicly as’, choose your preferred display name from the dropdown list.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click ‘Update Profile’ to save your changes.
