5 Find suitable Open Textbooks and OER

Begin your search by exploring the recommended repositories below to locate high-quality, peer-reviewed open textbooks. Always check the copyright or Creative Commons licence for each resource to confirm how it can be used and what permissions are granted.

WSU Library Collections

  1. Go to the Library Search box and click on Advanced Search[1].

  2. In the Search Filters, select Title from the dropdown list and enter your search terms.

  3. Under Material Type, select Books, then click Search.

  4. On the search results page, use the Refine My Results panel (left-hand side).

  5. Under Availability, select both Full Text Online and Open Access, then click Apply Filters.

  6. Browse the filtered results for open access books relevant to your needs.
