  • Western Open Books – Learn about this Western Sydney University initiative, the benefits of adopting or creating an open text, and browse the catalogue.
  • Pressbooks Directory – Free, searchable directory of public books created and published via the Pressbooks Authoring and Editing Platform. The Directory includes public domain literature, CC BY open textbooks, and a vast variety of Open Educational Resources (OER) published along the licence spectrum. Learn more about using the Pressbooks Directory.
  • Library catalogue – Discover WSU open textbooks via the Library catalogue, e.g., search for the title ‘Customer Insights’ (by Aila Khan) and filter it by ‘Books, eBooks, Videos, and more’. You should see it listed in the search results as an Open Educational Resource or ‘Book’ type
  • The Mason OER Metafinder (MOM) – This search tool allows users to perform a real-time, federated search of more than 20 different sources of open educational materials, including OpenStax, OER Commons, MERLOT, and other repositories that contain public domain and openly licensed material. The search tool is maintained by librarians at George Mason University.
