14 Retaining access to your content

Should you leave Western Sydney University and wish to retain access to books you own the copyright to in Western Open Books, you can clone your textbooks onto a subscription-based individual authoring account before or anytime after leaving the Institution.

To do this you would need to contact Pressbooks to set up an individual account to continue working on your book. The cloned textbook would live on a different network than Western Open Books. If you intend to make it the official and most up-to-date version of the open textbook, it would be possible (if desired) to set up a redirect from the previous version to the new one.
